Forgiveness: The heart of the Gospel

Forgiveness is the ultimate counter-culture statement. It says that we aren't going to "look out for number one" but, instead, we will be compassionate toward our neighbor. It destroys ungodly pride, by humbly seeking pardon. When we seek it, we recognize our sin. When we give it, we act in imitation of the God we serve.
