Spotlight - Courage

Courage: the key to godly virtue.

C.S. Lewis, in The Screwtape Letters explains that "Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point. which means, at the point of highest reality. A chastity or honesty or mercy which yields to danger will be chaste or honest or merciful only on conditions." What does courage look like? How to we gain it? Why is it useful? Teaching on courage can strengthen your congregation or small group to act in a virtuous way, even when facing strong opposition. This week, we provide the following illustrations to help.
